I was born in the Molavi neighborhood in Tehran.

I am Amir Mansour Shirazian, born in May of 1956. I was born into an affluent Tehran family in Molavi neighborhood, on the alley of the Dervishes. My late father, Rajab Shirazian, was an architect by profession and served independently in the military sector as well as in physical education. My father owned a construction company called Shibli, which was an abbreviation for Shirazian and Blokhat (his business partner). One of my father’s projects included the construction of the Amjadiyeh Champion Pool. My parents, originally, were natives of Tehran and residents of the Molavi neighborhood.

My father’s financial prosperity and the family’s financial constraints

At the age of 7, due to my interest in work and, of course, family circumstances, I started working in our neighborhood’s watch shop with a daily wage of one rial. Unfortunately, or fortunately, my father, as long as he was alive, was not generous and open-handed. Unlike contemporary fathers, even though he had financial prosperity, he did not share his wealth with his children. Therefore, I started working at the age of 7. I remember that due to this characteristic of my father, the family faced financial constraints. At times, to cover our expenses, I even worked in the neighborhood’s kebab shop during the summers. At that age, my entire love was to bring the dinner they gave me at the kebab shop to my mother at night so that we could enjoy kebabs together on the coolness of the rooftop. Even after all these years, the most enjoyable meal for our family is still kebabs.

At the age of 8, I entered the world of plastic

At the end of the age of 8, I entered the plastic industry. The story of my entry into the plastic industry began through my uncle, Haj Ghasem Damghani, the owner of the brand ‘Nylon Adalat,’ one of the oldest and pioneering figures in this industry. I am always and will be forever grateful for their efforts as long as I live.

The disappearance of fingerprints due to excessive work and molten substances

At the age of 15, I would stand beside five non-pneumatic production machines from morning to night. Every year, when they take my fingerprint for renewing my business card, I get fingerprinted more than ten times because, due to my work and handling molten substances, the fingerprints of some of my fingers have disappeared.

The establishment of the first White Nylon store in 1358 (1979)

In 1358 (1979), I partnered with my nephew, and we established the first White Nylon store. I also got married on the 17th of Esfand (6th of March) in the same year. The central office and the first retail store of the White Nylon production company were initially established in 1358 (1979) as a small shop in the Molavi neighborhood with the aim of selling nylon products.

The construction of the first White Nylon factory took place in 1361 (1982)

staff

Three years after the establishment of the White Nylon store, in 1361 (1982), with the partnership of my nephew, we acquired a 1000-square-meter land in Khatunabad (Pakdasht) and laid the foundation for the White Nylon factory by constructing a 200-square-meter hall. However, the company was officially registered in 1363 (1984). Still, we were working with partners until 1366 (1987).

In 1385 (2006), the factory was relocated to a significantly larger place with the capacity for several hundred machines in the Abbas Abad Industrial City (current factory location).

Today, White Nylon production company, with development in all aspects of management, human resources, and technology, thinks more expansively and looks further ahead horizontally. By utilizing advanced and modern equipment and facilities, along with dedicated and knowledgeable personnel, it strives to open a new window in this industry. So that anywhere the discussion revolves around production and packaging, there will be a footprint of White Nylon, and we believe that in the next 10 years, White Nylon will become an international brand

We are grateful to God and take pride in the fact that the White Nylon factory, which once started with 5 employees, is now in production and service with nearly 800 young Iranian workforce.

We hope that this journey expands wider and wider every day.

As long as Iran exists, may my body remain.
